Get Googled With Adwords To Boost Website Visits

The Google Adwords program is a very popular new program. Mainly people who have products to sell on the Internet use it. If you want to sell products, it might be a good idea to check into the Google Adwords program to give you web site more exposure. Besides, it is not hard to learn and it can mean big profits for your business too.

The Google Adwords program is a PPC, a pay per click program. It combines the use of an ad with text as advertisement for a product. You can write your own ad or have Google write it for you. Many people prefer to write their own ad. The ads consist of top keywords that are important to a website.

More than likely you have seen the ads and not even realized what they were. They are usually vertical ads on the right hand of a computer screen you will see after you have done a search for something on the Internet, although occasionally the ads are horizontal.

It does cost to place an ad with Google Adwords. This cost depends on what you are willing to pay for a CPC, a cost per click. If you have done a good keyword search before you write your ad then it is possible to use those keywords that will help your site and the ad will cost you less

Overall, it will cost you less because you have targeted your keywords to create an ad that draws in customers that will buy your products. Remember the less you are willing to pay for good keywords, the lower your ads will appear on the computer screen.

You need to consider that you will be in competition with other websites that use PPC and there might be times that you will have to adjust what you pay for your ad. Finding relative keywords does take some work on your part. So, others that have found the relative keywords first, in order to bump out competition, are willing to pay a higher click through premium. Be sure you know what you are willing to pay for this ad text service from Google Adwords before you get started.

Once you are at the level set by Google to stay in the rankings of valid PPC sites, you will need to maintain your listing. You cannot just create them, then forget about them and move on. You are ranking will fall because of tight competition for keywords and therefore ad placement. The ranking in a Google Adwords program is based on how many times a person clicks on your ad.

The CTR, click through rate, is the life or death of your ad on Google Adwords. What else can you do to remain in the top rankings besides having good relevant keywords? The use of solid attention grabbing copy is another key to keeping your site prominent in a Google Adwords ranking.

The Internet has changed dramatically in the last two years. For example, the domain names that were consider once high ranking and were very easy to get are rare to find today. So an acceptance of longer domain name extensions was created because of competition between websites.

Banner ads became very popular and for a while, people were able to make money with them on the Internet. Banner ads are still used but more so as a linking tool to several different sites of an owner. This is done in the hopes to make more money covering many unique sites. There were a billion sites but trying to find customers is getting much harder to do.

That is why the Goggle Adwords program was developed. Mass keyword targeting was the first step in trying to find a way to find an audience, but that proved too inefficient. There were just too many words on the Internet!

Now, Google has created a marketing concept of site targeting for consumer searchers. This makes it a real benefit for you as a searcher or an advertiser. Information is much easier to find and because of targeted keyword use, it is what you need to find. As an advertiser you can target specific sties that you want to advertise on.

Google Keywords does have its detractors. So if you are not sure if you want to use it, take it for a test run first. Go online and find out first everything you can about it. Use the extensive learning center at Google Adwords. Talk with others that use it to see what they thought about it. Read about some of the problems that others have faced and overcome with Google Adwords. It might be the key to your success online.

Houston Search Engine Optimization

Why and How Businesses Invest in Internet Marketing

Search engine optimization, or SEO, of your business website is the number one method of marketing your business on the internet. SEO is the specialized marketing efforts that are designed to increase a website's rank in search engines for specific search terms (knows as keywords). When potential clients and customers search for these keywords, it's imperative that your website shows up at the top of the search engine results to insure that this target market clicks on your website link.

If your website is buried on page 4 or deeper in search engine results for the terms that could be driving massive amounts of potential customers to your website, you are missing out on untold sales and leads. Over 65% of internet shoppers use search engines like Google, Yahoo!, and Live (formerly MSN) to find websites that they will do business with. It's a no-brainer that your business is missing out on cash if you are not at the top of search engines for keywords that your target market is using.

Internet Marketing: The Full Picture

SEO is Only the Beginning

The majority of search engine optimization companies focus entirely on the premise of "top search results equal top sales." This is really not true because search results are only the very beginning of a potential customer's journey. The truth is that, like you probably do, the potential customers who do find your website at the top of search engines are likely to visit several of the top websites that they are shown by search engines. This means that not only do you need to have great search engine placement, but your website still must compete with the other top ranking websites. The dirty truth that most search engine optimization companies don't want you to know is that top search results are not enough.

Maximizing Customer Experience for Optimal Sales

Let's face it: Some websites focus primarily on top search results, some focus primarily on design, and others focus mainly on delivering quality products and services and a top notch customer experience. If your website is lacking in one of these areas, it's going to lose business to the websites that are at the head of the game in these areas.

When choosing your Houston search engine optimization company, take into account more than their ability to increase your search rank. Talk to them at length about your business, your products or services, and be sure they understand your target market and your business vision. The best internet marketing company to invest in for optimal website marketing results is the one that understands that online marketing involves numerous aspects, including search rank and a top notch customer experience.

The Essentials of Blog Posting

Blogging has probably been the most fun internet marketing activity I've undertaken in my online business. I love to write, and reach out to my website visitors with new information, news, reports, opinions, or articles that I've created that expose a little of my personality and give my readers something they want to hear. Not only is it fun, but it's free, profitable, and generates hoards of traffic to your site, provided that you make quality posts with quality content and know how to market your blog. There are good ways and bad ways to blog, so here are a few essential things to keep in mind when making your blog posts:

First you have to write something that people will be interested in reading, and reading regularly. Posting your articles to your blog is the best way to get quality content on your blog, but it's also good to write about your own personal experiences and opinions. Your articles should be at least 500 words, and your personal comments can be shorter, but still containing quality content. You don't want to post just one fantastic article packed with content, you want to post many, and try to make a blog post every day, every other day, or even weekly so that your readers know that your blog is fresh and updated regularly. The first few months that your blog is launched are critical months when you want to attract a readership and give them enough that they bookmark your site to come back to it frequently. Giving your blog a domain name that's easy for them to remember and represents your content with good keywords is also a good idea.

There's another thing you can do with your original articles to gain exposure to your blog, and that is submitting them to a blog carnival. This means submitting them to a site that features and summarizes maybe 5 quality articles on a specific topic. Other blogs will link back to this carnival host, giving you more quality traffic. Also, when you make a blog post, you can link to other people's blog articles, which leaves an entry on their post to your post. It may attract other bloggers to you, who may in turn link back to your posts. A good article directory to submit your articles to maybe once a week is Ezine Articles.

Once you have a blog, you want to expose it to the right audience. A good way to do this is by making comments on other people's blogs whose content is related to your content. If you randomly post comments all over the place on blogs unrelated to what your site is about, then you won't generate the kind of traffic you want. Stick to your niche, and you will get readers from that niche wanting to click on your blog link at the end of your comments. It's also a good idea to encourage people to make comments on your blog posts, and to reply to these comments to keep a conversation going. The more comments that are left on your blog, the more other people visiting your blog will realize you have something important and valuable to say, and they will want to read it to find out what all the buzz is about.

I have also joined a blog traffic exchange to get traffic to my blog, but you can also submit your blog to different blog directory sites, such as Blog Top Sites. This site allows you to add a small bit of HTML code to your blog so it can be rated in a particular category and will help get you more traffic and better ratings. If you remember to not only create quality content for your blogs, but also market your blog effectively by commenting, linking, and submitting regularly to the right places, you will be on your way to having a popular and well-visited blog!

Jobs in Dubai – General Dubai Job Market Information

Jobs in Dubai – General Dubai Job Market Information

Are you Looking for a Job in Dubai?

Dubai job seekers can find a haven of opportunities; but looking for a job in Dubai and landing a job in Dubai are two entirely different things. Dubai has become a hot spot for opportunity in the Middle East as well as internationally, and because of that, the job market has raised the bar for talent and prospective employees. With hundreds of companies relocating to the Emirates, and more specifically, to the chic and cosmopolitan city of Dubai, jobs are to be found, and careers made of, for those with the drive to get here.

Dubai Economy: Perfect for Job Seekers

In order to land the Dubai job of your dreams, you have to first look at the markets, the industries and the people that make up the unique and explosive entity that is Dubai. After all, Dubai is not your conventional city and therefore requires the attention of your job seeking skills. Once you understand the job market, you will have a better chance at targeting and landing the job you’re looking for in Dubai.

As the economy, property market, and population of Dubai is booming, so too will follow the job market in Dubai. In searching for your dream job, it might behoove you to understand the market, and the people that make it up, in order to launch an offensive on your Dubai job search.

Understanding the Dubai Job Market

Aside from the local population of Arab Emirati’s who make up less than 20% of the population, Dubai boasts over 200 nationalities living within its borders. Of those, the Dubai work force is made up in large part of Lebanese, American, Indian, French, English, Philippines, and Russian nationals to name a few; all of which are highly skilled, highly educated, adaptable, multilingual, and as dynamic as Dubai itself. After all they are indistinguishable.

Dubai’s natural resource is natural gas, which feeds the large and healthy petrochemical industry. Because of that, and its accessibility to the Middle East and gulf countries, as well as to Europe and Africa, the Dubai job market in the petrochemical industry provides many opportunities. Auxiliary industries to benefit from petrochemical jobs in Dubai are those jobs to be found in retail, marketing, advertising and tourism. With thousands of hotel rooms currently online and thousands more in construction, Dubai jobs in hospitality and restaurant management are a good place to look.

UAE Employment Laws

Other than the local community, all foreign nationals work in Dubai as invited guests of the company (sponsor) that hired them. Accepting a job in Dubai means accepting an invitation by the sponsor, and in many ways, it means living in Dubai as an invited guest. In other words, no one who has accepted a job in Dubai will be in Dubai any longer than their invitation allows. Your job or career in Dubai will be as good as the visa stamped in your passport.

Even though all this may sound a bit limiting, in many cases the upside can be big. According to UAE law, if you are hired from outside the UAE, your company must provide you with travel to and from the UAE. Further to that, the company must provide you with travel to and from your “homebase”, or the country of origin, at least once a year. In most cases the employer will reimburse the amount of the travel cost if you choose not to take the trip home.

In the event that you are let go, your employer is required by law to give you notice of 30 days. Even though UAE employee, or ex-employee, laws may not be as protective as other countries, it has become standard practice that most companies operating in Dubai and UAE will compensate the employee a gratuity of up to one month per year of employment with the company in the event of termination, which is quite impressive in comparison with other countries.

In the welcomed event you are interviewed for that dream job, be sure to ask about your prospective employer’s health insurance and benefits, vacation and leave program, working hours, weekend schedules, gratuity, maternity/paternity rights, transportation and housing allowances.

Start your Dubai Job Search Now

Finding that dream job in Dubai means having to find your place in a complex web of interrelated and interdependent nationalities, cultures, ethics, and work styles. Now that you have grasped the idea of what the Dubai job market it made of, you are armed and ready to start looking.

While there are a plethora of online recruitment agencies readily available with many jobs to fill, you might want to keep your horizons wide by checking for headhunters outside the UAE. Many companies look for prospective talent outside the country. Our advice is so cast your net far and wide by searching in international, as well as local channels for Jobs in Dubai.

Being Smart With Pay Per Click Advertising

Pay per click (PPC) advertising can be very profitable if you know what you're doing. The first thing you don't want to do is get into a bidding war with the bigger companies. When you first start advertising with PPC, you want to test it out first.

Don't dump a huge amount of money into your campaign and pick all of the most common key words. You have to be a little more tactful. Use a keyword evaluation tool and find other less common keywords and use those to start off with.

You also want to make sure you keep a close eye on your pay per click campaign to see what is working for you. Using different search engines, other than the most common, is another very cost effective technique that will keep your click costs down.

Now let's break the numbers down.
Internet marketing gurus say that 1 out of 15 clicks opting in to your auto responder from your landing page is doing pretty good. If your paying 25 cents a click, that's $3.75 a lead. Then typically, you will see one sale generated out of every twenty opt ins. Now using the same figures, it will cost you about $75 a sale.

Depending on what you're selling, this value is very key. What if you're making $80 a sale? You're still in profit mode, but that will take you a lot of sales to quit your day job. How about $100 a sale? Figuring in your advertising dollars, you're making $25 profit per sale. Now you're smiling a little brighter. What if you were making $500 or $1000 dollars a sale? If you were marketing online only part time, you're now considering having a talk with your boss.

Now all of these numbers are relative to a cost per click of 25 cents. That would be great if we lived in a perfect world, but we don't. How can you apply this to what you're doing?

We can look at it like "25 cents is too low, you'll never get a cost per click that low" or you can look at it like "If I do my research on my keywords, I might get it that low or even lower." What about if your opt in ratio was 1 out of 10 or 8? What if you generated a sale in 1 out of 10 or 5 opt ins? Don't doubt yourself because there are people and companies with those ratios.

Although pay per click advertising is very popular and very effective, it isn't the only form of advertising out there. You need to research other methods and diversify yourself. Make sure you have a set advertising budget and stick to it. You also want to track it to see what is working for you. The name of the game is driving traffic to your site. The more visitors you have, the more sales you'll generate.

Role of SEO in Internet Marketing

Search engine optimization (SEO) should be considered a critical element of any Internet marketing strategy. This is important because there is so much which can be gained from SEO in terms of Internet marketing and advertising. Failure to optimize your website for search engines can result in a considerable loss in terms of free advertising which is essentially gained from ranking well with search engines. This article will provide insight into what SEO is and will explain why Internet marketing requires at least some degree of SEO.

SEO optimization is a strategy in which a website is designed to obtain favorable search engine rankings from popular search engines. This may be achieved in a variety of different ways and optimal SEO strategies combine a variety of different strategies to complete one well orchestrated SEO campaign. There are several elements to consider when attempting optimizing your website for search engines. This may include keyword density, prominence, META tags, titles and inbound links. Keyword density is one of the most common SEO strategies and essentially involves using relevant keywords often in the content of a website to demonstrate the relevance of these keywords to the website. This is important because search engines are likely to reward websites with optimal keyword densities with favorable search engine rankings in an effort to provide Internet users with the most relevant websites for particular search terms. For more help go to www.the-forum-list.com .The prominence of keywords should also be considered. This includes how close the keywords are placed to the beginning of the website. The common mistake with this strategy is to believe the first opportunity to incorporate keywords is in the first line of visible text on the webpage. This is not true because search engines crawl the code of a website as opposed to the visible content on the website. This means there are multiple opportunities to incorporate relevant keywords long before the actual visible content on the website. This might include the code for the title as well as the META tags. Business owners who realize the potential for incorporating keyword into the code gain an advantage over competitors who only incorporate keywords into the content on their website.

Another area of concern which is very important for those who are interested in SEO is inbound links. Inbound links are essentially links which reside on other websites and direct traffic to your website. These links are considered important because many search engines place a value on inbound links because they are essentially an example of one website recommending another website. However, when obtaining inbound links it is important to do so from other websites which rank well with search engines because many search engines consider the rank of the original website when determining the value of the inbound link. For more help go to www.mrx-interview.com .Now that we have briefly explained some of the main concept of SEO, we will illustrate why it is important to optimize your website in the first place. SEO is so important because most Internet users highly value the results of search engines and are likely to only visit to ranking websites when they search for a particular keyword. Internet users trust search engines to serve the most relevant content first and are therefore not likely to visit websites which do not fall on the first or second page of search results. This means websites which rank well essentially are receiving a great deal of free advertising from search engines that place their website in a key position. Website owners who do not invest time into optimizing their websites miss out on a great deal of potential web traffic.

Affiliate Marketing With Google Adwords

The quickest way to generate targeted traffic and start earning commissions with an affiliate marketing business is to use google adwords. One doesn't even need a website of their own to make money online using adwords. Traffic can be sent directly to an affiliate link.

Even though this is the easiest way to make money online I recommend those who advertise on google send traffic to their own website first for a couple of reasons. First of all traffic sent to a information pre sell site tends to provide much higher sales conversions than just using direct affiliate links.

Secondly google has recently tightened its quality scoring of websites making the cost per click skyrocket for many who were sending traffic to direct links. This has priced many affiliate marketers out of using adwords and is widely known as the "google slap".

I've found a good way to improve quality scores and lower cost per click is to write topical blogs and send adwords traffic to them. The blogs can have the affiliate links included in the text. For best results the text links should be the same or related to the keywords bidded on in an adwords campaign.

A critical part of adwords success is the ad itself. The ad needs to have a high clickthrough rate to recieve a lower cost per click. An ad should have keywords that the advertiser is bidding on included in the title. Many ads should be created and tested. The ads that have low clickthrough rates meaning usually below 1 percent should be deleted.

One technique that can be used is dynamic keyword insertion. With dynamic keyword insertion google will put the keywords in the title of an ad automatically. To use dynamic keyword insertion in place of the title one must put {keyword:default}. In place of default a keyword or phrase should be used in case a keyword phrase bidded on is too long for google to automatically insert the keyword.

Keywords are another important consideration in using google adwords. The better keywords to bid on are usually specific lower traffic words rather than the higher traffic general terms. For example a keyword like "music" will not convert to sales as well as words like specific songs or artists names.

The more closely the keywords are related to the topic of the website the better. Just like ads underperforming keywords with low clickthrough rates should also be deleted and new keywords periodically tested.

Where many go wrong with adwords is they set up an ad campaign and never go back to make changes. In order to be successful using adwords an affiliate marketer must continually make adjustments to fine tune their campaigns. This means they must constantly be testing new ads and keywords and deleting underperformers. If one does this consistently an adwords campaign is likely to cost much less and be more profitable.

Some Famous Techniques of Internet Marketing

Aside from timing your responses and incorporating your joint ventures after a 30-day period as previously discussed in part one, you can also harness other means to make conversion a natural part of your internet marketing business.

One of the tools you can use is auto response plus which requires more creativity. This way, you get your prospects to opt-in again and then add them to one list. When you do have master list tools, it will automatically arrange your lists for you. For more help go to www.the-forum-list.com .With regard to an affiliate product, you can also do something else. If you will be promoting somebody else's product then you will do your business well if you offer a bonus along with it. And in order for them to claim that bonus, prepare a form for them to fill up. This puts them on buyer list and out of prospect list.

In the business, it is best to really have a much selected group of joint venture partners to promote products with. Classify your JV's as A-list or B-list, and adjust your conversions accordingly. Make the B-list go to the don't buyers and the A-list to buyers.

Your ways of selecting what conversion techniques fit your particular joint venture partners will help you build your internet marketing business. The rule of thumb in deciding whether your joint venture partners are worth the A-list quality or the B-list quality depends on how much you believe their products. Classify your JV's as A-list or B-list, and adjust your conversions accordingly. Make the B-list go to the don't buyers and the A-list to buyers.

Once the 30-day period has ended and some customers still did not buy from you, follow-up for them may be done in a less frequent manner. While your persistence may be rewarding to some, there are also times that you have to tame down your plugging because some customers are just not made to buy from you.

A good technique to have anchors to your follow up is to offer free five lesson course or things that will require continuity. For example, you could give a free five lesson course deliverable via email.

Once you do give the free lesson, you can do a follow-up which contains statements such as: "Hey, remember in lesson one how we talked about…" This will give you instant recognition. But make sure you do this shortly after you give out the lesson so that they will not forget that you or the lessons. For more help go to www.mrx-interview.com
One of the best examples of effective internet marketing strategy is that of Dell products. They are always changing and yet they continue to create a sense of urgency by changing the premium offers that they have on it on a cycle of bonus offers for their prospects.

So you can do the same thing with offering somebody else's product. You produce the same sense of urgency by providing bonuses with a 72-hour period or so that will be hard to pass up or refuse. This way, you get them to instantly buy from you and make the conversion turnout’s faster and passive income greater.

The Benefits of Internet Marketing

Internet marketing is exactly what it says, marketing that is done over the internet. Internet marketing and website promotion have many benefits, the principal one being that anything that is published on the internet has the whole world as a potential audience. It is also a relatively cheap way of driving traffic to your website and gaining more sales and boosting your income.

There are several different types of internet marketing that you can use and one of the most popular is by having a lot of content on your website that is SEO rich. SEO stands for search engine optimisation and it is a method of using keywords in your text so that it is highly ranked when someone puts them into a search engine.

Internet marketing and the relevance of SEO

If you have any product or service that you are selling, you need to let people know about it. There is no point in having a website that has no one visiting it, so you need a way to get people there. This is where search engine optimisation (SEO) becomes so useful to you.

When a person decides to search on the internet for anything they will type what they are looking for into a search engine. They will then usually click into a website that is within the first 3 pages of rankings. This is because a person assumes the higher the Google ranking (if that is the search engine they are using), the more relevant to their search the website will be.

A good ranking is usually down to good SEO. You can check that your website has good SEO and keyword density by using SEO tools to measure the percentage of times your keywords occur during the text. A good keyword percentage is 2-3% in order for a search engine to rank your website highly.

The rise of Internet Marketing

Internet marketing is growing daily and more and more people are using the internet as their first source for information. This is something that any business should realise and make the most of by looking at ways to improve their internet marketing.

256m people visited a search engine in December 2006, this represents 81% of global internet users. [Source: Nielsen/NetRatings, March 2007]

In addition to the clever use of SEO, one way links within articles are another great way of increasing your traffic. This is done by submitting articles related to your product or service and having a link that directly sends the reader to your website. If you want to get your business noticed then use internet marketing and see how it can improve your sales.

Here is a new fantastic website

That will give members free access to thousands of dollars worth of digital products, on the Internet; wait until you hear how you can obtain membership!

This website boasts that it will give annual memberships to the consumer for just the price of a digital product the individual is interested in. They do have a minimum of $50.00, but then who would want a product under that amount. They project a database of hundreds of products presently being vended on the Internet. In addition they state these products come under the most desirable categories. This phenomenal and very novel idea will have a great impact on the tremendous internet market of digital products.

To explain what a digital product is we must simply think of any product that is not solid. These products are delivered to the purchaser only through the internet. Usually a password is given and when applied opens the products information to the consumer. However, the description and pictures they show are deceiving. To best describe a digital product is to envision the purchase of an e-book. Although there are many different categories of digital products; probably the category that has the most amounts of products is the business category of making money on the internet. A very heavy favorite is the many different methods of affiliate marketing.

The objective is to purchase the product the new member has selected for the website hence it will become the property of the website. In turn the members will have access to their product and as the products accumulate; as members of the club they will have access to all in the database. This seems to be a most interesting and novel concept for this “Buy Once Club” website and promises to be extremely popular. For those who are looking for a product, the club offers a host of interesting products available on the market in many popular categories; that they can choose from.

The club explains that the internet is uncontrollable and there are many types of purveyors offering items that they over spin to get a sale; while knowing full well the endeavor they call simple is very difficult. Dealers also underplay the enormous amount of competition by explaining how large the Internet truly is. They also seem to always overstate the derivable income.

Therefore they are now giving the consumer the unique opportunity to try any of the products in their database that have been purchased. Now the very many that are not what they purport to be will be exposed. The member derives this information without the trouble of purchasing; being very disappointed; and having to exercise the MBG if either they are within the time constraints offered that usually is usual not feasible.

It is possible that this revolutionary website will overwhelm the Internet and attract a tremendous amount of members who will enjoy the opportunity to avail themselves of an enormous database filled with extremely popular digital products. Sharing is the right of the purchaser and that is exactly what they are doing. What goes around comes around meaning that the dealers explain that the internet is enormous so the purchaser should not worry about the competition (that is truly immense), well since that is a fact then this great, growing daily internet will bring them many new purchasers.

They are called the Buy Once Club and of course the address to their website is: www.buyonceclub.com I do suggest you look into this especially if you have any products you have been thinking of purchasing either as a personal service or a business money maker. From what I can see the consumer has nothing to lose and all to gain. Questions to: info@buyonceclub.com

Web directories and reasons to submit your sites.

Do you have a website and are looking for more traffic? If so you dont have to despair trying to figure out how you will direct traffic to your site because there is a tried and true way to increase your traffic in no time!

Few webmasters realize the real potential of the web directories. However, the ones who do always manage to reap the rewards of a good web directory submission campaign. This is, on many occasions, what makes the difference between existing on the World Wide Web and not being visible at all.

So what exactly are web directories? Well, it is what the name states. It is a directory which contains links to other websites on the Internet. It manages and categorizes the site submissions it receives based on each sites theme.

Many people confuse the link directory with the search engine. While the former simply manages categories and places the web sites in the category that they belong to, the latter displays the sites based on the keywords that represent them.

There are various types of web directories. Depending on the subjects they cover, they can be either general directories or specialized directories. The general directories cover any theme, and they have broad thematic coverage. In other words, any site can make a submission to these directories, as long as it doesnt interfere with the policies (for instance, there are directories which dont accept adult or gambling sites, but there are some which accept them).

Then, there are specialized directories, and these cover a specific niche, which can be anything from a regional approach to a specific subject like Medicine, Marketing, etc. The best thing to do if you own a site and want to promote it is to submit to the general directories and then find out if there are any niche directories that you could submit to.

Another classification is by the fees they charge. There are free directories and paid directories, and they are self-explanatory regarding what they mean. Also, another category which is between these two is reciprocal link directories, which means that you will have to link back to them from your own site. This seems like free submission but it isnt quite like that.

The main two advantages of web directory submissions are the extra traffic you get and the backlinks to your own site (which is good for your search engine rankings and which ultimately also turns into traffic). However, if you do it strictly for the backlinks, make sure that the directories you submit to don̢۪t associate the (nofollow) attribute with the link (which basically means that the search engine will not follow the respective link).

The most notorious web directories are the Yahoo Directory and DMOZ (the Open Directory Project). The Yahoo Directory has two options, a free one and a paid one, and DMOZ is free (however, you will probably have to wait a few months until you get included, because the links are manually reviewed and included in the directory by a group of volunteers). But in the end, its well worth it because if you make a consistent web directory submission campaign, you will certainly see great results.

It̢۪s incredibly easy to use and a terrific way to increase traffic to your website. It̢۪s possible with social bookmarking to get new customers visiting your website within days, even within hours!

Social bookmarkings are websites that list popular websites. Each social booking website compiles lists of people̢۪s favourite websites depending on the interest or the theme of that particular social bookmarking website. These site listings are similar to search engine listings because they are searchable by tags as well as keywords.

But the great thing is that these tags are like keywords except they don̢۪t come with any rules and you are able to choose the keywords you want. You use whatever word you want to help you remember where you put stuff.

Social bookmarkings are a total popularity contest. They rank sites to be most popular depending on the amounts of votes it gets. And the fact is social bookmarkings attract a ton of traffic. The Alexa ranking for Del.icio.us is 139, its 207 for Technorati and 85 for Digg. These websites are listed in TIME magazine̢۪s top 50 coolest websites.

The best way to join in the fun of social bookmarking to get yourself acquainted with what̢۪s out there; A list of some of the most popular social bookmarking websites are:

simpy.com, spurl.net, ma_gnolia.com, shadows.com, Technorati, blinklist.com, furl.net, del.icio.us, myweb2

Check these sites out and figure out which of them relates most to your website. Keep an eye out for what people are adding and what is most popular. Some social bookmarking sites, like Technorati give a graph that marks the number of mentions specific keywords or tags have gotten in the last month. This is critical information for any webmaster wanting to improve traffic to their site. If you click on the graph it̢۪ll tell you the number of searches for those keywords up to a year. It̢۪s a terrific way to gather marketing information, and monitor trends. And the best part is it̢۪s free!

After you figure out what works best on particular social bookmarking sites you can plan content that would fit into that scheme. Write the stuff and start submitting it. But put some time and thought into your content. If your stuff is good you will attract more attention and repeat customers. Put useful information in your content and format it so that it̢۪s easy to read. Using bullets and quick tips are effective formats for web content.

Use Article Submission Directories To Market Your Website

The Internet is full of advertising opportunities and what is great about many of these advertising opportunities is that they are free. That's right. You don't have to pay anything. You do, however, have to put in some effort to ensure that it is done. You can't exactly market your business without doing anything unless you hire someone else to do it for you. Nevertheless, it is sometimes easier to pay with your time than your money. Then again, you may choose to pay with your money instead of your time in order to get a job done right.

Whichever way you choose to do it, article submission directories are a great way to market your business. The correct name for this is "article marketing." It is something that has picked up at phenomenal speed in recent years because people want to know things. People seek out articles for information and, when they find it, they will click on the website link at the bottom of that article to learn even more. This means that the article has to be interesting enough or contain enough valuable information to make them want to click the link at the bottom.

Making the article interesting

Speaking of making the article interesting, how is it you do that? How does a person make an informational article interesting? You may think it is a bit difficult, but, really, what you need to do is throw in enough information that says, "Hey, this is the article to read. If you don't read me, then you"re not going to learn the ropes of this stuff." You want your article to be "the one" to read for information.

So first, start out with an idea. Come up with an angle that excites you. If the angle doesn't excite you, then you're not going to be able to convey any type of excitement through your writing. You're going to find an end product that is monotone and bland. Monotone and bland will literally make you think "yuck, what was I thinking?" Well, probably not much.

As you write the article, you can throw in bullet points and subtitles to make it easier to read. People love subtitles and bullet points because ideas are divided up in an easy-to-understand way. You don't want someone to be reading and then keep losing their place in the article because they don't have a point of reference. At the same time, be interesting. Think about what you would like to read. If you won't read it, they won't read it.

Writing the article yourself vs. someone else doing it

Here is a good question that businesses ask themselves when looking to embark on article marketing: "Do I write the articles myself or do I have someone else do it?" This is a good question because not everyone has a propensity for writing or they may not have the time. It is usually a time issue, so they may hire someone to write the articles for them. Hiring a writer to take care of it can be cost-effective because it is the difference between having the article written for submission and not having it written for submission. Obviously, it is better to have the article written and submitted.

As for other options, you can choose to have it written for you and just submit it yourself or you can choose to have the writer submit it for you too. It is up to you, but it is important to do what you can to get the job done when marketing through an article submission directory.

Is this type of marketing necessary?

Really, in a world in which the Internet is the way in which business is done, it is important to take advantage of all marketing methods that have been made available to you. Article marketing is huge and this is because it is successful.

One reason why article marketing is so effective is because people need information. When they search for something through search engines such as Google, these articles are peppered throughout the results. When someone finds your article, they will click on it for the information that they need and they will most likely read it in its entirety. When they reach the bottom, they will find your link for them to click on.

How the process works

When you have a written article that you want to submit, you have to make sure the article is within the guidelines of the article submission directory. If the article is outside of the guidelines, it won't be posted.

Really, all you need to do is simply figure out which category your article fits in and make sure that particular article submission directory accepts articles for that category. If you haven't already registered for an account, go ahead and do so. After that, go to the button that allows you to post an article. Make sure you fill in all of the fields and choose the correct category. Once you have done that, you can paste the article and the title into the provided box.

Now one of the most important parts of the article submission is the resource box. Most article submission directories will not allow any direct promotion within the article, but they will allow you to post a short bio and a link at the bottom in the resource box. This is where your reader is going to be linked to your website. This is why you need to make the article interesting or your reader is going to leave halfway through your article. They will never make it to the end, which means your time and/or money was wasted and their time was wasted. You definitely don't want to waste their time or they will never follow a pathway to your website. However, many will and this is why you want to use this type of marketing. These people will follow your site and they will suddenly become customers, which mean even more success for you.

How A Fountain of Spit Taught Me Why Adsense Templates Don't Work!

The sign on the door said AAA. This had to be it. I inched the door open and was instantly overcome by a tsunami sound wave of chanting: YES SIR! ADCENT FIXMASTER SIR! YES SIR! ADCENT FIXMASTER SIR!

Whoa! What had I gotten myself into? What was this, some kinda cult?

Alright I'll admit it. I'm an addict--an adsense junkie! But it was counseling I needed not some nutters' army! I tried to ease my way out without being noticed, but too late, the bald dude on the podium noticed me. He beckoned me forward with a flick of his hand. I approached cautiously and started up the steps but he practically shoved me back. I could see why, he couldn't have been an inch over five foot; I'd tower over him if we stood side by side--not the best situation if you're trying to be an effective commanding officer. Commanding officer--huh? I guess the atmosphere was contagious.

"NAME?" he bellowed.
"Marc Ting," I replied somewhat timidly.
"SAY WHAT?" he barked showering me with a fine mist spray of spittle.
"MARC K. TING, SIR!" I shot back. But apparently that was not good enough. He glared at me as his face chameleoned through various shades of red before settling on a beetroot hue. For a second there I thought he was about to smack me. I guess the same thought must have crossed his mind because he abruptly turned his attention to the rest of the troop.

"YOU!" he growled to some skinny pimple-faced kid who had ADDICT written all over, "NAME!"

"OTTO RHEES-PONDAR, ADCENT FIXMASTER SIR!" pimple-face shouted back with rank precision; looked like normal speech was frowned upon in this neck of the woods. The Fixmaster turned back to me. The look on his face left no doubt; I'd better get it right this time round or else. I did! But that didn't stop him from laying into me anyway.

"WE HAVE TWO KINDS OF ADSENSE ADDICTS HERE" he boomed while pacing the podium, "THOSE WHO ONCE MADE A FORTUNE FROM ADSENSE AND THE LOSERS WHO NEVER DID!" He paused to catch his breath which was okay by me; the fine mist spray of spittle had long since turned into a cascading waterfall of spit that somehow seemed to land nowhere else but my forehead. Thus for the first time in my life I was grateful for the grotesquely bushy eyebrows the powers-that-be felt compelled to bestow upon me from the moment I was born.

"Tell me son" the Fixmaster continued, "When did you first start your adsense endeavors?" I wasn't sure what was more disconcerting; the fact that he called me son or the fact that he was talking normally.

"JANUARY 2006 ADCENT FIXMASTER SIR!" I hollered back, as loud as the best of them.

"AS I THOUGHT! WE GOT OURSELVES A GEN-U-WINE ADSENSE LOSER" he spat with obvious contempt and disdain. "I BETCHA TWEAKED, FIDDLED, ADJUSTED AND TRIMMED TILL YOUR FINGERS WERE RAW TO THE BONE, BUT YOU NEVER MADE MORE THAN NICKEL AND CENTS. AIN'T THAT RIGHT LOSER?"

Evidently I no longer qualified as son anymore but I couldn't have cared less. He was right though; I never did make anything more than nickel and dimes from Google Adsense despite faithfully following every instruction from the plethora of expensive adsense courses I had bought. In fact things had gotten so bad, that at one point my girlfriend started getting jealous of the computer. Imagine that--jealous of a computer!

Anyway I suppose it must have been the sum of the past year's adsense frustrations; my girlfriend almost dumping me; not to mention being publicly berated and humiliated by a five-foot tyrant that made my eyes suddenly well up. Apparently the Fixmaster must have noticed because just like that he stopped his tirade. I guess nothing quite kills troop morale as a grown man blubbering for no apparent good reason. From that point onwards the meeting was less boot camp and more group therapy. The Fixmaster confided that he used to make a ton of money from adsense but had committed the cardinal sin of spending it just as fast as he made it! Like so many others he thought the adsense party would never end. But end it did! And when that happened he lost a heck of a lot more than just his adsense mega-revenue. He lost his wife, his kids, his expensive cars, his two houses and his identity. So he decided it was only fitting to lose the adsense guru moniker too and start a new chapter of his life. One of counseling adsense lost souls like those of us gathered at the weekly Adsense Addicts Anonymous meetings, as well as educate newbie marketers of the dangers of exploitative "adsense gurus" who made their adsense money these days by capitalizing on the newbie's lack of knowledge. Here's what he had to say:

1. So-called adsense gurus only sell their eBooks or software after Google has nullified their systems.

2. Adsense gurus did not make their money the way they tell it in their eBooks.

3. Adsense Pre-optimized templates simply cannot work because of the changes that Google made to its adsense algorithm and is continually improving upon.

4. Anybody who bought an adsense eCourse or eBook after October 2005 was doomed to fail no matter if they followed the instructions faithfully and exactly.

5. The common sense kicker: why would adsense gurus let you in on their mega-revenue generating system while it still worked!

6. Adsense gurus these days make their money by selling their bogus adsense products to the unwary.

7. If you look carefully you'll notice almost all adsense revenue screenshots are from 2005 not 2006!

5 Essential Ingredients of a Successful Online Work at Home Business

The internet changes daily as far as what works and what doesn't when it comes to making money online.

If you are new to work at home online businesses, your head can spin with all the hype, sales pitches , and outright lies as far as the reality of starting up an online home based business.

There are however a few things to look for in your search for a work at home business that can become some nice additional income, or even better, your "job". Working at home, generating $1000 a day is far from what I call a "job".

To help ease your frustration, and point you in the right direction for what you should be looking for in today's online marketplace, the following summarizes the 5 essential ingredients in a winning work at home online business opportunity.

Later in this brief overview, I will offer a "secret" to online success that is rarely mentioned in the many articles written on the subject.

1. SYSTEM- This may be the most crucial item to your success. You need a System that generates prospects, educates them on your business opportunity, sorts and weeds out those that are not interested in your offer, then closes the sale at a conversion rate that ensures profitability. The System must be as automated as possible so you aren't spending hours cold calling or following up with people that are probably not interested, then trying to use your sales closing skills to make a sale.

Think of the successful off line businesses such as McDonalds, Tim Hortons or Subway. Do you think they could duplicate those businesses all over the country, setting up new franchise owners to run these businesses, without a SYSTEM that works?

2. BIG Profits- This is important as the advertising needed to result in sales can be quite costly. For some $1000 price point business programs, it isn't unusual to spend $200, $400 or even $600 to make that $1000 sale. Of course, there are ways to also spend $0 in advertising, but the reality is advertising is often on the range where to make $1, you may need to spend $0.40. Your profit is still $0.60. Would you do that over and over if you had a automated system in place to make this happen? Big Profits allows enough profit so your advertising cost is well covered by your selling price. You can't do much advertising to make a profit on selling a $20 ebook for example.

3. Hot Products- Yes, the product must be tangible and have use and value. There are many new business opportunities that offer $75,000 or more worth of downloadable products that sell for $1000. That's pretty HOT, and full of value. Having a product that can be downloaded, means NO shipping. Now that is just way too easy.

4. Leads and Traffic- This is probably the most perplexing for most new work at home business owners. An online business will never make any money without a source of leads (prospects). The key to providing leads to an online business is they need to be targeted.

This means you need to advertise to a niche market of people looking for exactly what your offers. Seems so simple a concept, but so may people struggle in building their prospect list.

5. Support and Training- as with any business start up, you need to learn your work at home online business program.Make sure that your business program has ample training and resources so you know exactly what to do to get those prospects to your System. This is not always easy to figure out when doing your due diligence on an offer.

As a suggestion, make sure you ask for examples of where and how you will advertise. Also ask where will you get the wording for the ads,who will write the ad copy and the followup messages, what the conversion rates are for your system. If your sponsor can't provide good answers, then they may not be that successful themselves.

This is just a brief overview of what today's online business programs need to cut through the many offers out there and make your business stand out to others.

Earlier I mentioned I'd offer a "secret" to successful online work at home business programs that is rarely mentioned in the various sales pitches. The true secret just might be you.

Most people do not realize they are starting up a real business. There will be ups and downs, profitability may not come overnight, or you may expect riches in the first few days.

I am sure some people have had such success, but most starting out, very likely start with leads, no prior list of prospects, and a small advertising budget. You then need to make good decisions to leverage your sales to grow your business.

The best way to accomplish an online business start up is with the very best automated SYSTEM. Then you can spend most of your time on advertising and growing your prospect list- leaving the rest to the system to close sales which will deliver you paying customers. Then you can train your new customers to do what you know how to do!

For more information on automated systems, please take a look at our main business review website.

To your success!

4 Things Affiliate Marketers Need

Here's my response, along with some information on what it takes to be successful as an affiliate marketer and tips on how to make affiliate marketing work for you as an online home business. You may not think that having a home business provides as much security, but you won't get laid off and you won't be called back into the office, and you should almost always get along with the Boss. In my mind, all of this makes the idea of starting a home business all the more appealing. There are thousands of work at home jobs and home business opportunities on the Internet.

After a LOT of research, as well as plenty of trial and error, I have learned some very important things to look for in home businesses, work at home jobs, affiliate programs and all the other types of work at home business opportunities. My preferred niche is in affiliate marketing, this vs. traditional marketing is by far easier and more lucrative in the long run. You can build a higher residual and passive income this way. My opinion, of course, but try it out for yourself and see that I know what I am talking about.

Useful Tips

1) Starting a successful online business begins with research.

Look into every aspect of your business, Are you going to need inventory, storage, up front money? Websites, domains, and hosts are very important factors in research! The wrong web host and you are doomed from the beginning*. Write it all down so you can look back from time to time. Research your niche, by that I mean what kind of business would best suit you and your needs. What are you good at? Think about this question before you go any further and write down your answers so you can research them.

2) Websites, domains, and web hosts are crucial in your success.

Like I said above*, Most Internet businesses, that have a drive to succeed, focus all of their time and resources on building a great site, and then trying to drive tons of traffic to that site. I recommend staying away from Free web hosting for a business , Most free hosting has drawbacks such as they reserve the right to place ads of all kinds on your site, this looks very unprofessional and will make you lose business in the long run, so beware, free isn’t always good. Check out reviews on the host of your choice to make sure they have good credibility standards on the internet. I personally recommend Host 4 Profit as they have always had great customer service, and they, to my knowledge, are rarely if ever down like some hosts I’ve ran across in the past. Anyway, research this one immensely.

3) One of the biggest key factors in building a successful online business is traffic. Only after you have chosen the right name and host for your business should you move to this step. There are many Free ways to get traffic on the web; Articles, blogs, free advertising sites there are plenty of, traffic exchanges like Traffic Swarm, Traffic G, etc. Making sure you get enough backlinks to your site makes the Big difference. Search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN will not pick you up if they can’t find you. Make your website available to be found by getting your link on everything you can, but always staying within the rules of advertising, otherwise you do more damage than good to your business. If you have NO traffic, you have NO sales. No sales equals No Business. You see the effect here.

4) Perseverance, it’s not something you can find online it’s something you have to find within. I know you’re thinking now why did I put that in there. Perseverance is what you will need most when you start and try to maintain an affiliate marketing online business. When you work at home you get to set your own hours and granted you can even work while still in your PJ’s but at home there are constant distractions to stop you from staying on task. Someone will stop by, the kids will start fighting, emergencies arise, the phone never stops ringing, etc… You name it, it will be sure to happen. This is why perseverance is in my top 10 tips to maintain a successful online business. You must make it a point every night before going to bed to make a ‘to do’ list for the next day concerning your business. This strategy has helped me most of all and it keeps me on task.

Starting An Internet Business In As Little As Within Hours With These 9 Proven Secrets

With the right guidance, an Internet business can start generating income almost immediately. A home internet business can be very successful for people who have the dedication, skills and patience to await agradual increase in business and income. There are several ways how an internet business can be started. However, no matter which internet business is being initiated, it won't make an impact at first.

The start up costs for an internet home business are next to nothing compared to the offline world of business start ups. In fact it is a lot more simple to start and grow a business on the internet. Of course you need some knowledge to begin your internet home business enterprise. But you don't need a "Bacc" to do business on the web.

All you need is some computer knowledge and some internet marketing basis and a good dose of determination.

Here is some basic tips on how to start an internet home business.

== 1.Write Your Business Goals ==

It is important to set goals and objectives and then take action to accomplish them. This will be your Business Plan.

Here Are Some questions you should ask yourself:

- Why do I want to start up an Internet Home Business?

- What product or service can I provide?

- Do I have the knowledge and expertise to provide this service?

- Do I know enough about the competition?

- Where will my customers come from?

Take the time to write down your questions and answers and thoroughly research your chosen market.

== 2. Choose A Product or Service To Sell ==

On the internet you can find hundreds of product or services to sell.

You can sell your own product by creating your own, or purchasing resale rights or being an affiliate with a good internet company.

Don't put your personal gains first. Make sure that the product will deliver what it promises. When you promote a product that leaves the buyer dissatisfied, you' ll only be ruining your business. So sell solutions and the money will come.

== 3. Business Domain Name ==

One important first step is to choose the best domain name you can. Keep it as short and simple as possible.

Think of domain name like " Google " or " Yahoo ". They are short and easy to remember.

I know that some people say to use keyword in you're domain name. But if you choose " Internet Business " there is million of site with this term.

So are you going to use for example "AprofitableInternethomebusiness.com" it might be a nice name but it is too long and not simple.

== 4. Your Business Web Site ==

Having A good business website is essential to succeed with an internet home business.

Here is the thing you have to plan to build your website

A) Decide on the website design (color schemes, buttons, special effects etc). However, you may have a preference for a certain color or look. To help you choose a design, you may wish to check out other people's websites or work with your web designer's pre-set templates.

(b) The content. There are many items you may wish to include on your website. The most common ones include:

1 Products And Services

2. Contact Information

3. Pricing

4. Testimonials

5. Frequently Asked Questions

6. Resources & Articles

7. Refund Policy

8. Privacy Policy

9. About Us

10. Site Map

11. Useful Links

12. On-line store

== 5. Choose a Web Hosting Company ==

What is a Web hosting Company?

A Web host is a company that provides server space for your website. You can think of a web host as a commercial building. The web host provides space for your website just as a commercial building provides space for your shop or office.

What are some of the things you should look for when choosing a web host? The criteria for choosing a free web host and a commercial web hosting solution are slightly different although they do overlap.

A) Web Space

Does it have enough space for your needs? If you envisage that you will expand your site eventually, you might want to cater for future expansion. Most sites use less than 5MB of web space. Indeed, at one time, one of my other web sites, thefreecountry.com, used less than 5MB of space although it had about 150 pages on the site. Your needs will vary, depending on how many pictures your pages use, whether you need sound files, video clips, etc.

B) Bandwidth allotment

Nowadays, many free web hosts impose a limit on the amount of traffic your website can use per day and per month. This means that if the pages (and graphic images) on your site is loaded by visitors beyond a certain number of times per day (or per month), the web host will disable your web site (or perhaps send you a bill).

It is difficult to recommend a specific minimum amount of bandwidth, since it depends on how you design your site, your target audience, and the number of visitors you're able to attract to your site. In general, 100MB traffic per month is too little for anything other than your personal home page and 1-3GB traffic per month is usually adequate for a simple site just starting out. Your mileage, however, will vary.

C) Reliability and speed of access

This is extremely important. A site that is frequently down will lose a lot of visitors. If someone finds your site on the search engine, and he tries to access it but find that it is down, he'll simply go down the list to find another site. Slow access is also very frustrating for visitors (and for you too, when you upload your site).

How do you know if a host is reliable or fast? If you can't get feedback from anyone, one way is to try it out yourself over a period of time, both during peak as well as non-peak hours. After all, it is free, so you can always experiment with it.

== 6. Shopping Cart ==

No e-commerce website is complete without a secure shopping cart. There are many shopping cart options. Many e-commerce business owners make the mistake of using Pay Pal to accept payments, which immediately tells visitors that their company is very small and not professional.

A good alternative to Pay Pal is a remotely hosted shopping cart. Remote shopping carts take the burden of maintaining security and credit card numbers off your shoulder and places the responsibility on another company. Remote shopping carts can usually be configured to look similar to your website.

In fact, your customers may not realize that they have left your website to place an order. The remote shopping cart provider will give you the HTML to add to your website. When your potential customer clicks on the Buy Now button, he or she is taken to the remote shopping cart to enter the personal information and payment details.

Depending on your choice of a shopping cart, you may or may not need a merchant account to process transactions. Some shopping cart services allow you to use their merchant accounts for a slightly higher fee.

== 7. How To Promote Your Business Website ==

Write An Article: Write an article promoting your site or product. Write an article on a hot topic many people would like more information on and submit it to various e-zines. How do you find out what's hot? Visit a few of the message boards and see what questions are raised often.

Search Engines: Thousands of search engines exist on the Internet. But, you should only be concerned with the top eight or ten. You should manually submit to the top eight: Alta Vista, Excite, Yahoo, Hotbot, Lycos, Northern Light, Infoseek, Webcrawler, and use one of the FREE automatic submission services like *SubmitPlus* to handle the smaller search engines.

Directories: List your site here too. Directories organize sites into categories. Good examples of Directories: Yahoo, Magellan.

Ezine Listings: If you have an e-zine to promote along with your site. Why not list it with one of the many e-zine services on the Internet. E-zine Library is a good one to start with.

Free Classifieds: You will have to submit to a ton of FREE classifieds to get any significant traffic. Why? You are competing with thousands of other Ads. Remember to work on your Ad copy and make it attention grabbing. Go to one of the popular search engines, type in Free Classifieds, and surf to the top 20 classified sites for beginners.

Often, these sites will lead you to several other Free Classified Sites. In response you'll get a stack of e-mail thanking you for listing your site while barking their promo. Best to get one of those free email accounts. Hot mail is a good one. So is Yahoo mail.

FFA Pages. Free For All's are worth a try. Be prepared for a avalanche of e-mails from FFA web site owners. If your title is attention grabbing you will get a few clicks. Good Attention grabbing headlines, FREE, Limited Time, Limited Offer, Proven, Secrets, and many more if you brainstorm. Check out the sales literature delivered to you by regular mail. Check and see what headlines grab your attention. And why? Incorporate them into your Online Ads.

Tell Friends And Family: If your friends, family, acquaintances, have an Internet Connection, e-mail them telling them about your new website, and ask them to visit often. Offer a FREE incentive if they tell a few friends to surf over. Perhaps, a FREE Ad in your e-zine.

Leave Business Cards or Flyers: Leave these promo pieces with small businesses in your community. All relevant contact information; email address, URL, telephone number, should be included. Offer a freebie to anyone who visits your site. A free e-book, report.

== 8. TRACK YOUR MARKETING ==

Here are some questions to consider:

1) How many unique visitors come to your website?

2) How many visitors opt-in to your mailing list or order your products?

3) When you send emails, how many are opened and how many people actually click through to your website?

The reason these question are so important is because if you don't know these stats, you won't know what to improve. It could be different things; like your headlines, the content or navigation on your website. You won't know until you start checking all your marketing offer.

== 9. YOUR BUSINESS IN CONCLUSION ==

Think of your first six months primarily as a training period. Don't expect large earnings until after you've educated yourself.

Even the most dynamic, highest-earning entrepreneurs in the industry took MONTHS to begin seeing an income of any real significance with their internet home business.

All the great men and women in history had to overcome the naysayers who said it couldn't be done and then went out and did it. Think for yourself!

As long as you think positive and focused on your internet home business target you re on the right way to a rich life, which is directed by you and it will lead you to tremendous success and personnal satisfaction.

Building an Internet business can be very rewarding when you start making money online out of the comforts of your own home. If you've always wanted to be self-employed and be your own boss. Then having an internet business will open this up for you. You just need to work on it.

Online Business Opportunities: Avoid Being Scammed. Top 7 Selection Criteria Disclosed

The Internet is loaded with informational websites uncovering the shocking facts about many innocent people having been scammed in their endeavors to set up successful and sustainable Online Businesses. This has been an issue since the start of online business on the Internet and isn't something that is foreseen to be solved or eliminated any time soon.

Most of the victims in these cases are people who crave to own an online business that they can run from home, which would allow them the flexibility to create that most sought after, unique balance between work and leisure/family time. Being passionate about achieving this, many people fail to conduct proper research and to their detriment often make impulsive decisions driven by emotion leaving them extremely vulnerable. This is the very thing that many "marketers" exploit and which inevitably causes innocent people to fall into the many traps that are being set up in cyberspace all the time.

It is disturbing to see the garbage some "marketers" are allowed to include on their websites in their attempts to sell their so called online business opportunities these days. When reading some of these websites, one can't help but to wonder what happened to openness, transparency and honesty in online business. In fact, it raises the question of whether business ethics have ever, or will ever exist on the Internet.

One just has to spend a little time in doing some research on the Internet to discover that the same strategies to lure people into buying useless online business systems are being used over and over again. The hard reality is that empty promises are being tossed out there to scam vulnerable and innocent people all the time.

Whilst it is true that there are many different ways of conducting online business on the Internet, the fact remains that just about every man and his dog offering business opportunities on the Internet claims to have the ultimate solution to online business. Many empty, misleading promises are often made about online business opportunities including phrases and terminology such as;

  • 100% Rock solid guaranteed...
  • Killer system...
  • Promise to put $$$$... into your pocket within hours, days, weeks....
  • Anyone can do this...
  • Very little effort i.e. 5, 10 ... minutes a day, week, month, ....
  • Nothing like it out there...
  • Free (Never mentioning all the add-ons that one needs to purchase)
  • No questions asked money back guarantee...

to name but a few. Apart from this, many advertisers often promise a hand held, step-by-step online business system, which almost never meets such expectations in the true sense of the word. To top it all, one is typically bombarded with the "what to do", whilst the "How to do it" is conveniently left out of the equation.

Furthermore, as it is said, the devil lies in the detail, or should we say the fine print. In defense of some website owners, it is true to say that we live in a very legalistic society and that there are always people who will abuse systems and/or policies and that one needs to provide for such circumstances. However, most website owners are legally completely indemnified in the "very fine print" Terms and Conditions on their websites from being held responsible or accountable for any success claims made on their website. This raises the question as to why someone would need to include such terms if they truly had the confidence in their online business opportunity as expressed on the selling pages of their website.

It is not all bad though. Although one cannot ever be 100% certain that a particular online business opportunity would deliver exactly what it promises, there are a few useful checks that can be done to tip the odds moderately in one's favor. If you are looking at engaging in online business, it is strongly suggested that you consider the following:

  • Contact the Advertiser

Enquire as to whether the advertiser is contactable, i.e. telephone, email, mail etc., and make use of these contact methods to verify that the person actually exists. This conversation will give you an idea of whether you will be receiving after sales support in setting up your online business, if and when necessary.

  • Ask questions about the Opportunity

Secondly, when contacting the advertiser, ask questions to clarify anything about the online business opportunity that isn't clear to you.

  • Seek Verification Of Testimonials

Check whether the people providing testimonials on the website are contactable and contact them to enquire about how they are doing with the product.

  • Spot Unrealistic Claims

Don't accept anything as a given. Watch out for unrealistic claims such as those listed, but not limited to, earlier in this report. The golden rule here is that if an online business opportunity sounds too good to be true, then it most probably is.

  • Check The Terms and Conditions

As mentioned earlier, many marketers use this section to indemnify themselves legally from taking any responsibility for the claims they make. If this even vaguely appears to be the case, it is suggested to refrain from getting involved in such online business opportunity as it is most likely to be a scam.

  • Seek A Reputable Merchant

It is worth checking whether the online business opportunity is marketed through a reputable online merchant such as Clickbank.com. The reason for this is that Clickbank offers a 60 day money back guarantee and they are renowned for honoring this commitment. It is suggested that you avoid relying solely on the guarantee offered by the advertiser.

  • Read Product Reviews

It is worth searching the net for product reviews on the particular online business opportunity one wishes to pursue. These often provide valuable unbiased information on the product.

These are just a few, yet critical pointers to consider that could make the difference between spending your hard earned cash on either a scam or a worthwhile online business opportunity. The secret lies in conducting thorough research prior to getting involved. It is commonly known that adequate planning contributes to 80% of a business' success whereas the remaining 20% is in the running of it. This statistic alone should clearly be enough to adequately justify doing proper planning, i.e. research.

If you desire to have your very own successful online business, but have previously been scammed and as a consequence is lacking the confidence in identifying viable opportunities, allow me to help you through the process. I don't claim to know it all, but I can help you not to make the mistakes I have. I would embrace the opportunity to come alongside you and jointly work and learn with you. I believe that together we can make a difference. Should you consider my offer to be of interest to you, please feel free to visit http://real-online-income.ws/ which tells you more about it.

The Top 7 Overlooked E-bay Success Tips

Last year alone, millions of people made a profit on e-bay. Some were just selling odds and ends, while some ran huge businesses exclusively on e-bay. The amount of commerce done on the internet is only expected to increase, making prospects for e-bay users bright. You very well may be one of the people who's discovered the great benefits of making money from e-bay auctions. I myself have been an e-bay user for a little over a year and have had great success with my auctions.

When my friend began her business on e-bay selling high end purses, it started out quite rocky. Her auctions weren't getting the hits she wanted and usually sold off of one bid, instead of creating the bidding frenzy that beautiful bags like she had should have!

So, she called me up knowing I had been successfully using e-bay for almost a year at the time. She gave me her login information (we're best friends- she trusts me!) and asked me to check her her sales and current auctions and see if I noticed where the problem was. When I saw her current auctions, alot became obvious!

So, I compiled a list of things that I had used which had made me successful which I suggested she implement into her own auctions. I even revised the auctions she had active at the time. One of those auctions- a gorgeous brown Coach purse- sold for $546.00. She had listed it for $125.00. It was her biggest sale yet and she was thrilled.

The funny thing is, the methods I use are not some internet guru secrets. They are just things I picked up during my time using e-bay, but seem to be overlooked alot of the time. Here are what I have found to be the top 7 overlooked tips for successful e-bay auctions:

1. The Importance of a Good Title- When you're creating a title for your auction, you've gotta think like a buyer. When I checked my friend's listings, she had a beautiful, brand new brown patchwork Coach purse titled as 'coach purse'. This is way too general! A buyer knows what they want; in your title, include color, any brand name, main keywords that people will search, and condition is possible. I changed her title to "Brown & Beige Patchwork Coach Purse-Brand New". By the next day, it had over 100 new hits. Previously her auctions were hardly even reaching 100 hits throughout the whole 5 days.

Another mistake people often make is writing things like 'The best wristwatch ever!!!!" Even if you do believe you're selling the best wristwatch ever, is this really what a buyer is searching for? Of course not. Use a more descriptive, detailed title like 'Gold Armani Wrist Watch w/ Leather Band-New".

One more thing when it comes to titles: make sure keywords are included. For example, whatever the item you're selling actually IS, include that in the title. On e-bay, I mostly sell high end women's heels. I always make sure to include in my title 'Womens Shoes" because this is a common keyword. An example of a title I would use is:

"Brown Marc Jacobs Womens Silver Stud Pumps Shoes"- I know that 'pumps shoes' sounds awkward, but many women will search for "marc jacobs womens shoes", and I want to be sure my item shows up in the results. Use these tips when creating your title and you'll be sure to see increased traffic to your auction.

2. Give honest descriptions- Sure, that stain, tear, or other defect may be sooo small that it's almost impossible to notice. Still, mention it in your auction. If you send an item out and a buyer realizes that the item has a defect that you didn't mention in the auction description, they will be disappointed and very possibly leave you negative feedback. Anyone familiar with e-bay knows that feedback is everything. It is what makes people feel comfortable buying from you and proves that you are a trustworthy, reliable buyer.

It's best to provide a photo of any defects so potential buyers can see what they're getting. And believe me, if you say that there's a defect but don't show a picture, people will e-mail you asking for some. I have sometimes had a defect so tiny on a shoe that I couldn't even get it to show up in a picture. If that's the case, say it! Provide a picture of the area where the defect is and also explain in your listing that it's so miniscule that you can't get it to show up in the picture. Buyers will trust you much more and be way more willing to buy from you in the future. You also won't have to deal with an unsatisfied customer who can damage your feedback rating and make future potential buyers hesitant or even completely dissaude them from buying from you.

3. Offer International Shipping- So often I see sellers who are providing great products but don't offer international shipping. Let me tell you- about 30% of my sales are to international buyers, and very often international buyers will pay more for products. I never understood why people are restraining their own sales potential by not offering international shipping.

Remember, the buyer is the one who pays the shipping, not you!! Even though international shipping is expensive, you are not paying it! And don't be discouraged thinking sending things internationally is difficult- it's super simple and not much different then sending things within the country. If you use USPS (the method I find most efficient for prices and service), you may have to fill out a short customs sheet that takes no more than a minute. Don't be lazy! Offer international shipping and see your sales soar!

4. Send a Thank You card with your purchase- You can get packs of black decorative cards from any general store, WalMart, or even discount chains like TJ Maxx. Buy a couple packs and with people's packages, send a nice thank you card.

You don't have to write a dialog, just a simple "Name of Buyer, Thanks so much for your bid! Enjoy your purchase, and I hope to do business with you in the future! Your Name or Business Name" If you want to really go all out and rake in some super feedback, include a small free gift. When I sell a pair of shoes I usually include a free headband or pair of earrings. If you'd like to try this out, try to find something that compliments whatever it is that you're selling. You could also include a little bag of candy or some tea light candles (go to the dollar store for great knick knacks and free gift ideas). Use your imagination to make your customers satisfied and loyal!

5. Offer combined shipping Buyers love combined shipping. If you offer a good combined shipping deal, and have more than one item they're interested in, they're ten times more likely to buy both items. Some people choose to determine combined shipping depending upon the two items the buyer is interested in, while others have set shipping rules. A good example is to charge $_.__ for the first item and offer to send the second item free, or for $1.00-$2.00 more. Usually the additional weight of the package isn't much so it's possible to offer combined shipping without losing any profit at all. Determine your own rates depending on the weight of the items you sell and the shipping service you use.

6.Keep communication with Buyers open and offer more pictures upon request. Of course in your listing you must include good pictures to attract buyers. Most people include 2-4 pictures per listing, depending on the size of the items and any special details you've got to show. I always include at least 3 pictures, and more if I feel the item needs more pictures of some detail it has that is unique.

Even though you have already provided your buyers with good pictures, it's helpful to write in your listing "Contact me with any questions or for more pictures. (with your contact info)" This is another method that makes buyers instantly trust you more and feel more comfortable placing bids. They feel that the communication lines are open and that they can get more info on the item if needed. And don't be discouraged thinking that you'll spend the whole day responding to e-mails requesting more photos; If you've already included good pictures, most people won't bother asking for more. Of over 50 listings where I've written this, only one person ever asked me for additional pictures. Check your e-mail though at least once a day to see if you've got any questions, people love quick responses and will reward you with good feedback for your effective communication.

7. Always use Delivery Confirmation- This is a biggie! Make sure that when you post your shipping costs, delivery confirmation costs are included so buyers aren't questioning the extrra expense when they receive their invoice. Delivery confirmation is a cheap effective way to ensure both your own and the buyer's investment.

First of all, you do not want to get scammed. What? Scammed? Yes, it happens. I know that most of the scamming referred to on e-bay is about sellers who scam their buyers, but don't be naive; we sellers are also at risk. Although the majority of the e-bay community is good people who are just trying to conduct legitimate transactions, there are those rotten apples which make it hard for all of us.

The usefulness of delivery confirmation was brought to my attention my an acquaintence of mine who does some selling on e-bay. He sold some very high quality digital remote for around $250.00. He shipped the item using delivery confirmation, and after about a week told me he received an e-mail from the buyer saing she'd never received the product. She filed a whole complaint with e-bay and made a big fuss about it. GOOD THING he had the delivery confirmation number and was able to prove that the product had been shipped to her address. Don't let one of these scammers get a chance to cheat you out of your money.

Making delivery confirmation a requirement is also something that will make serious bidders trust you more and see that you're a legitimate business person who wants to secure shipment. Think about it; if someone requests NOT to use delivery confirmation, you can guess where their intentions are. The extra .75 is not breaking anyone's piggy bank, so don't feel bad about it.

There you have it! Use these highly useful yet highly overlooked tips to generate more traffic to your auctions and enjoy higher sale prices. To e-bay success!
