Role of SEO in Internet Marketing

Search engine optimization (SEO) should be considered a critical element of any Internet marketing strategy. This is important because there is so much which can be gained from SEO in terms of Internet marketing and advertising. Failure to optimize your website for search engines can result in a considerable loss in terms of free advertising which is essentially gained from ranking well with search engines. This article will provide insight into what SEO is and will explain why Internet marketing requires at least some degree of SEO.

SEO optimization is a strategy in which a website is designed to obtain favorable search engine rankings from popular search engines. This may be achieved in a variety of different ways and optimal SEO strategies combine a variety of different strategies to complete one well orchestrated SEO campaign. There are several elements to consider when attempting optimizing your website for search engines. This may include keyword density, prominence, META tags, titles and inbound links. Keyword density is one of the most common SEO strategies and essentially involves using relevant keywords often in the content of a website to demonstrate the relevance of these keywords to the website. This is important because search engines are likely to reward websites with optimal keyword densities with favorable search engine rankings in an effort to provide Internet users with the most relevant websites for particular search terms. For more help go to www.the-forum-list.com .The prominence of keywords should also be considered. This includes how close the keywords are placed to the beginning of the website. The common mistake with this strategy is to believe the first opportunity to incorporate keywords is in the first line of visible text on the webpage. This is not true because search engines crawl the code of a website as opposed to the visible content on the website. This means there are multiple opportunities to incorporate relevant keywords long before the actual visible content on the website. This might include the code for the title as well as the META tags. Business owners who realize the potential for incorporating keyword into the code gain an advantage over competitors who only incorporate keywords into the content on their website.

Another area of concern which is very important for those who are interested in SEO is inbound links. Inbound links are essentially links which reside on other websites and direct traffic to your website. These links are considered important because many search engines place a value on inbound links because they are essentially an example of one website recommending another website. However, when obtaining inbound links it is important to do so from other websites which rank well with search engines because many search engines consider the rank of the original website when determining the value of the inbound link. For more help go to www.mrx-interview.com .Now that we have briefly explained some of the main concept of SEO, we will illustrate why it is important to optimize your website in the first place. SEO is so important because most Internet users highly value the results of search engines and are likely to only visit to ranking websites when they search for a particular keyword. Internet users trust search engines to serve the most relevant content first and are therefore not likely to visit websites which do not fall on the first or second page of search results. This means websites which rank well essentially are receiving a great deal of free advertising from search engines that place their website in a key position. Website owners who do not invest time into optimizing their websites miss out on a great deal of potential web traffic.

Some Famous Techniques of Internet Marketing

Aside from timing your responses and incorporating your joint ventures after a 30-day period as previously discussed in part one, you can also harness other means to make conversion a natural part of your internet marketing business.

One of the tools you can use is auto response plus which requires more creativity. This way, you get your prospects to opt-in again and then add them to one list. When you do have master list tools, it will automatically arrange your lists for you. For more help go to www.the-forum-list.com .With regard to an affiliate product, you can also do something else. If you will be promoting somebody else's product then you will do your business well if you offer a bonus along with it. And in order for them to claim that bonus, prepare a form for them to fill up. This puts them on buyer list and out of prospect list.

In the business, it is best to really have a much selected group of joint venture partners to promote products with. Classify your JV's as A-list or B-list, and adjust your conversions accordingly. Make the B-list go to the don't buyers and the A-list to buyers.

Your ways of selecting what conversion techniques fit your particular joint venture partners will help you build your internet marketing business. The rule of thumb in deciding whether your joint venture partners are worth the A-list quality or the B-list quality depends on how much you believe their products. Classify your JV's as A-list or B-list, and adjust your conversions accordingly. Make the B-list go to the don't buyers and the A-list to buyers.

Once the 30-day period has ended and some customers still did not buy from you, follow-up for them may be done in a less frequent manner. While your persistence may be rewarding to some, there are also times that you have to tame down your plugging because some customers are just not made to buy from you.

A good technique to have anchors to your follow up is to offer free five lesson course or things that will require continuity. For example, you could give a free five lesson course deliverable via email.

Once you do give the free lesson, you can do a follow-up which contains statements such as: "Hey, remember in lesson one how we talked about…" This will give you instant recognition. But make sure you do this shortly after you give out the lesson so that they will not forget that you or the lessons. For more help go to www.mrx-interview.com
One of the best examples of effective internet marketing strategy is that of Dell products. They are always changing and yet they continue to create a sense of urgency by changing the premium offers that they have on it on a cycle of bonus offers for their prospects.

So you can do the same thing with offering somebody else's product. You produce the same sense of urgency by providing bonuses with a 72-hour period or so that will be hard to pass up or refuse. This way, you get them to instantly buy from you and make the conversion turnout’s faster and passive income greater.

3 Best Places to Upsell on Your Website and Squeeze More Profit From Your Customers

When I think about upselling, you always get this nauseous. You product launches after product launches, and all the upsell, downsell and the one-time-offers (OTO), you just feel like you want to puke.

But then again, take a look at GoDaddy and Amazon.com. Those two companies really know how to upsell. And the best thing, you don't get that nauseous feeling. Infact, you welcome their "upselling". Strange??

Well, if you look closely, these two company put a lot of effort into getting into your head. At their book information page, you will see an upsell that reads "Best Value - Buy Together Today: $19.36" or maybe "Frequently Bought Together". And the recommendation is always related to the book that you checking out at the moment.

At GoDaddy.com, when you are checking out the availability of SomeWebsite.COM, they recommend SomeWebsite.NET and SomeWebsite.ORG. And at the same time, they make recommendations of premium domain names that has been put up for sale by other domain owners. So you may also get recommendation for SomeOtherWebsite.com or maybe SomeWebsiteThatIs.com...

I guess that's why you get nauseous with OTOs. OTOs appear at a time when you least expected. The obvious thing is that may not have a "buying" thought in your mind at the moment. And all of a sudden, you see this offer...

But of course, this is different with squeeze-page-to-sales-letter. Squeeze page that leads to sales letter (like how Armand Morin always does it) makes it clear that they will see a sales letter about the product on the other side.

It's all about how making how the customer feels.

I believe the best time to upsell are below...

  1. At the checkout, before the customer enters payment information. If you use Paypal, before they get to Paypal.

But this has to be done right. Before getting customers to enter payment information, first display the item that they are buying, just like how e-commerce sites with shopping carts. And below that, list some products RELATED for upsell.

  2. At the download page. When you sell downloadable products, the customers would have to go to a download page. A good download page is one that will expire after a certain period of time. That means each of your customers will have their own unique download page URL.

Imagine this, from the first moment they open that download page, a 30-minute countdown will start. Now your customers only have 30-minute to decide whether to grab your offer or let it pass. Because it's a discounted offer, it make sense why you only do it for 30 minutes.

Of course, the download page itself expires much longer than that. Maybe 7 days or so.

That's a good trick to have, right?

  3. In thank you email. While the purpose of the thank you email is to send purchase information, there's no rule saying that you can't send a few recommendations. And this recommendation can land on that thank you page with the 30-minute countdown timer... that's cool, right??

I believe these are the best places to upsell. However, I know don't of any scripts or solution that helps info-marketers upsell at these places well...

OK, maybe the email is pretty easy to do. But the other two, may require some technical knowledge for those.

What is an Affiliate and How Can You Make Money?

If you're looking to make money online, affiliate marketing just may be the answer to all your problems! Granted affiliate marketing isn't a get rich quick scheme, however, if you are determined and patient, it could very well make you thousands of dollars a month! By definition Affiliate Marketing is an Internet-based marketing practice in which a business rewards an affiliate for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliates marketing attempts. For instance, say an electronic business pays you 10% on all sales that you make and you make $1000 for that company then you would receive $100.

Okay so it isn't that much but this was simply an example, and you can join a few programs or you can join a program that offers all sorts of products. So you could either sell electronics for the site above which would include; laptops, computers, audio systems, TVs, etc. Or you could join a site that sells electronics, digital products, gaming consoles and make X amount of percentages on each site.

So how does this work exactly? How do they keep track of you? In most all instances you will sign up for a program and receive a special affiliate ID. Lets say mine is Kristi667, so at the end of the link(s) available on the affiliate program I joined I would see Kristi667. Once you start advertising and marketing and even making affiliate sites, you will add THAT link with THAT affiliate id and this is how you will receive cookies.

In most instances you will get a cookie from that site for 15-90 days which means someone could click your link now and not buy anything, but that could come back to the site in 30 days and you will still get credit for the sale. It's important to make sure the site you join does accept cookies or you could be missing out on sales!

Some sites will pay per sale, per lead, per sign up, etc. It really depends on the company you decide to join. Some people find it easier to sell and others find it easier to get people to sign up for things. Whatever you find you are the most comfortable with is the program that you should join! If you are really new to Affiliate Marketing and you want to test a few things out, go for it! As long as you follow the affiliate programs rules and guidelines, you can pretty much do whatever you want in order to make money and get those sales.

The 3Ms to Internet Money

The 3Ms to Internet Money stand for Mindset, Mastermind group and Mentor.

The fast track to Internet Money requires a Multi-millionaire Mindset, a Mastermind group to which you are accountable and a Mentor who is your coach who has been where you are trying to get to.

The 3Ms can also be defined as methods to Internet Money and ultimately Internet business success on a grand scale.

A Multi-millionaire mindset is as a result of programming your mind for success. Your thoughts, values, beliefs and attitudes produce your judgements, decisions and choices which then result in your actions and results.

Your parents, school, friends, what you keep in front of your eyes constantly and listen to form the basis of your thoughts, values, beliefs and attitudes.

By changing what you keep in front of your eyes and what you listen to you can change your mind and your life.

Keep pictures of what success means to you in front of your eyes constantly and you will be successful. The opposite is also true.

You need to get involved in a mastermind group or start one. A mastermind group is a group of individuals with the same goals and aspirations who are committed to making their dreams come true.

They are accountable to every member of their mastermind group and they share information amongst themselves that has the power to propel them towards or better still to their destination.

Members of a mastermind group are committed to each others success also because they have an understanding that success is a team sport. The sky is big enough for everybody so to speak.

You need a mastermind group because running an online business can sometimes get lonely. Iron sharpens iron and two heads are always better than one.

Most times your mastermind group will accelerate your success because different mastermind members contribute something unique which might very well be the piece you were missing to enable you to change your playing field.

A mentor is not your friend; a mentor is your coach. Make sure you find a mentor and not a friend. What qualifies an individual to be your mentor? That individual must have achieved what you want to achieve and must have a proven system that can be followed to achieve similar results.

The benefit of choosing a mentor is you gain the experience of the mentor once you become that mentor's protégé. If you are careful to do what your mentor teaches you will take a few years of your learning curve. It will put you in front of the queue and change your playing field.

One way you can have a mentor even if the mentor you would like is half way around the world is to get an online mentor. Get their eBooks, listen to their mp3 recordings and watch their videos and most importantly apply what they say to get the results they said you could have.
